My real estate agent just tried to upsell me on a market proof property
They were pushing some new development pretty hard. Said it was immune to market fluctuations. Sounded like a load of crap to me.

I'm 28 just starting to get serious about building some real wealth. My income is decent. I have a good savings rate. I'm reading a lot and trying to learn. But man there is so much conflicting advice. It's like analysis paralysis.
One guru says crypto is dead focus on real estate. Another says real estate is a boomer trap and to stack sats. Then there's the classic index funds crowd. Someone else swears by starting a side hustle. Another person says focus 100% on your main career to maximize income.
I want to make smart moves but it feels like every path has a vocal opposition telling you why it's a terrible idea. How do you cut through the noise? How do you pick a strategy and actually stick to it when there are so many options and so much FUD out there? I'm not trying to get rich quick I just want a clear sensible path.
Okay this might sound weird but does anyone else ever find themselves humming some intense classical music completely by accident? Like I'm in line at the grocery store or during a quiet meeting at work and suddenly my brain decides it's the perfect time for the Dies Irae from Verdi's Requiem. Or maybe a particularly dramatic part of a Mahler symphony. It's not on purpose I swear. It just happens. I wonder if anyone notices. Sometimes it's a really upbeat part too like something from a Haydn symphony. What are your most awkward accidental hum moments?
It's like they think I haven't already considered every possible angle. Like my brain hasn't already mapped out all the scenarios. It's so insulting. I know better than them. I always do. Their suggestions are always so basic. So obvious. It makes me want to scream. I just nod and pretend to listen but inside I'm rolling my eyes so hard. Do they honestly think I haven't thought of that already? It just shows how little they understand about me. Or anything really.
