Had this guy growing in a 110 litre / 30 gallon planter for the last 3 years, and finally got around to bonsai-ing him. Not sure how I feel about the shape, but I suppose it is what it is 😅
Usually I brush her daily with a deshedding rake / slicker / undercoat brush, but this thing makes it seem like I don’t brush her at all 😂😭
Edit: Ahh, so clarification: I didn't share the grooming tool link cause I didn't want this post to come off as advertising (which some people seemed to think it was anyways lol). I just looked up 'pet grooming vacuum' on amazon - it looks like a little floor vacuum with a pet brush attachment, and I went with the cheapest seller. I've messaged the mods asking if I can share a direct link, and will update again if I'm given the ok. My apologies for coming off as gatekeepy!
It’s 34°C / 92°F outside, and she really wanted some AC 🤭
Previously shot with a Nikon d7000 (&d90 😅) with a Nikon 18-200mm, 24-70mm, and 70-200mm as my main lenses. Also thinking of trading in my d7000 & d90 for a full frame DSLR so I can continue to use these lenses when camera & lens weight isn’t an issue.
Finally bit the bullet after 10 years of looking, and grabbed the Sony a6700 with a Sony 70-350mm, Sigma 16mm, and a Tamron 18-300mm.
I usually shoot landscapes / wildlife / nature nowadays, but would like to get more into astrophotography. I also previously shot theatrical productions (hence my 24-70mm on my Nikon), but I’d probably continue to use that on a full frame since weight isn’t really an issue for those kinds of shoots.
My thought was that the 18-300mm could be my general, all purpose hiking / camping / day to day lens (a soft 300mm is better than nothing at all 😅), while the 16mm could be for astrophotography / low light situations. The 70-350mm would be for when I know I’ll need the extra reach and won’t be doing any wide angle shots.
Is there something I’m completely overlooking in my setup / is there another lens I should be considering? TIA!
I wanted to make sure the coat was nice and waterproof before an upcoming trip to Norway. Going to let it hang for a few days in a warm room to help with the wax absorption, but is there anything else I should be doing and/or am missing?
