Cabinet – med inventory tracker - Free

App Name: Cabinet

What it does: Built out of necessity to manage my elderly mother's prescriptions, Cabinet tracks physical stock levels silently in the background based on your daily dosage. Instead of high-anxiety alarms or rigid countdowns, it uses a relaxed "Fuzzy-Time" layout (like "About 2 weeks left") to serve as a calm early warning system for refilling medication.

Key Features:

  • 100% Privacy & Zero-Data: Runs completely locally on your device with no accounts, no ads, and no personal data tracking.
  • Fuzzy-Time UI: Displays clear, intuitive text timelines rather than stressful countdown numbers to manage your mental load.
  • Automated Stock Tracking: Automatically calculates and displays remaining physical stock so you never experience a sudden stockout.

Goal: Testing & Feedback (Open Testing Track)

[Android] I built Cabinet – a free, private medication inventory tracker

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on that just hit Open Testing.

The Backstory: I care for my elderly mother, and tracking her multiple prescription levels became a massive logistical headache. The issue wasn't remembering the dose, but managing the physical stock. Realising we were down to the last pill with zero warning because we forgot to count physical boxes is a panic I wanted to code my way out of.

So I built Cabinet. It runs entirely locally on your device with zero tracking, no accounts, and no data collection. It serves as a calm early warning system so you can schedule refills smoothly.

I will drop the Google Play Store link in the comments below!

I would love to know what works, what feels clunky, and what features would make it more useful for your routine. Thanks for your time!
