UPDATE - Sound Bound (Open Q/A?)

Getting close to Croudfunding!!!! Starting in this channel I took my idea for a music powered comic is almost ready for the public. The Playlist has been built with a global contest on the way. A physical guitar you can play along with the bands.

An Idea on vacation is turning into a real comic book that people can read and that’s the scary part. Will it resonate with an audience? Will it flop?

Because this is a brand new IP, New Idea, New Marketing ideas. Im wanted to do an Open Q/A with the community that it started in. So please ask questions and tell your friends. The website with a quick overview will be in the first comment.

HERE WE GOOOOO

Does a music based comic excite you? I’m

I have been working on this for a few months. It’s called Sound Bound. Grounded with music but also the better you are and more talented you unlock powers that can reshape reality. Each instrument has unique powers in both playing as well as battle. Taking the battle of the bands concept to the next level. Very Scott pilgrim meets K pop Demon Hunters.

Follows Muse. A drummer who always had natural talent but never wanted to practice or had the drive to be better. Always complaining he never got his shot and the world owes him. He finally gets his shot and a lot of human emotions and thoughts ensue. Coming to grips with what he needs to do to actually stay on top.

Each issue will have a companion soundtrack that I’m curating to fill out the vibe, using indie artists to promote their music. The first issue also has a companion song used in the comic and will hopefully have a music video.

Thoughts?

New music Comic on the way!

SOUNDBOUND is an upcoming indie comic about music, fame, pressure, and figuring out who you really are, all through the story of a drummer who suddenly finds himself in the spotlight.

When MAINSTAGE’s drummer collapses during a live attack, an unknown musician named Muse gets pulled onstage and somehow delivers a perfect performance in front of a worldwide audience. Overnight, he becomes a star—but there’s one problem: he has no clue if he can actually do it again.

Now stuck between the high-pressure world of MAINSTAGE and the carefree chaos of BACKBEAT, Muse has to figure out what kind of musician he wants to be and whether he can handle the expectations that come with his sudden fame.

The comic is currently in development, and I’ll be sharing character reveals, artwork, updates, and behind-the-scenes looks as it all comes together. Thanks for checking it out—I’d love to hear what you think!

Soundbound - Talent gets you in the door, work keeps you in the band

Hey everyone — I wanted to share a project I’ve been building called SOUNDBOUND.

It’s an original comic series set in a world where music isn’t just heard — it’s felt. The biggest bands in the world are treated like idols, and every performance carries pressure, emotion, and consequences far beyond the stage. The story follows Muse, a struggling drummer who accidentally delivers one impossible performance and suddenly finds himself caught between perfection, chaos, talent, and discipline.

At its core, SOUNDBOUND is about something bigger than music. It’s about the fear of wasted potential, the pressure to live up to one great moment, and learning that raw talent alone isn’t enough to carry you forward.

We’re currently deep in production on Issue #01 with character reveals, worldbuilding, and new pages being shared regularly. Crowdfunding for the first issue is coming soon.

If any of this sounds interesting, follow along here:

Would love to hear what people think of the concept and world so far.

Finished the cover and pages 1 and 2 completely. Nedo has pages 3-5 sketches out. Awesome to see everything start to come alive.

SOUNDBOUND is an original comic set in a world where music doesn’t just move people—it shapes reality. At the center of it all is MAINSTAGE, the biggest band in the world, known for flawless performances built on discipline, precision, and relentless practice. When a rival attack shatters one of their live shows and kills their drummer, the band loses its rhythm—and for the first time, their perfection breaks in front of everyone.

In that moment, a complete unknown steps in. Muse, a drummer with raw talent but no direction, plays perfectly… once. The world sees a rising star, but Muse knows the truth—he has no idea how he did it. As he’s pulled between a system that demands discipline and another that thrives on instinct, Muse is forced to confront a reality he’s never faced before: talent might get you on stage, but it won’t keep you there.
