Any one day vacation tips?

I want to go someplace for the day. I don’t mind driving up to 4 hours. I would love to visit a city with nice views and areas. I’ve went to Chicago and would love a similar experience. I am going as family so that’s something to keep in mind. I also have visited Toronto so I am looking for something else. Somewhere close wouldn’t be a problem however. Just a different experience

Tips for the Waterloo Avogadro Contest

So tomorrow I will be doing the Avogadro Chemistry Contest from the UofW and I was wondering if you guys have any tips. Especially those who’ve done it. I tried the practice tests and honestly I am (kind of) scared. Because we haven’t learned half of the stuff I see on it. We haven’t touched solubility, gases, haven’t even finished stoichiometry. It honestly does not even look hard, it is just the fact that I haven’t learned any if it. I tried to teach myself but it’s hard to learn multiple subjects when your teacher tells you about it 2 weeks prior. Is there anyone who did it last year? How was it? Because I looked it up and apparently the average was 50.6%. I know it doesn’t affect my grades or anything but it seems like a waste not doing good on it. Especially since it could look good on future applications and the scholarship reward is pretty good.
