How do I know it’s beyond repair?
I keep getting a blinking screen when I turn on the console. I’ve been trying to refurbish my original NES. I’ve cleaning the game cartridges and I think I’ve got them looking pretty good. I’ve also cleaned the 72 pin connector multiple times, boil method and peroxide. I also bought one off ebay, installed that and had the same thing happen. I returned that and tried cleaning the cartridges again and my original 72 pin connector again to no avail.
So is it cooked? How do I know when it’s time to just let ‘er go?
