Maybe there's no good and evil; there's just what people accept, tolerate, and don't tolerate.

Been thinking about the subjectivity of perception and how people's thoughts can be easily influenced via programming. If you take away the judgment of things and the language we use, it seems to comes down to: either you're accepting or tolerating the conditions you find yourself in, or you don't. That's it.

Why do people tolerate so much nonsense and unnecessary suffering? Because they're attached to the stories that are given to them and internalize it.

Beliefs are powerful. So when people are attached to their stories, and build their identity around it, trying to change or let go of that narrative creates a felt sense of threat to their very identity, which perhaps has been conflated with existence itself.

This identity gives them a role in the story. Even if the role is not necessarily the one they want. Maybe there are expectations being fulfilled. Maybe there's some sort of familial or societal acceptance with the role.

I wonder how much longer people will go on like this while we continue ignoring our rapidly declining quality of life. We are such an odd species.

Value Decreases

The value of playing decreases the more you play. What I could win with a 30 million bet now takes 200 million for the same prize. The payouts and the pay to win system has less worth the higher the level you earn.

What is the incentive to play after level 5 or so?

Tickets then Glitch?

I had tickets and then they were gone. The reel to real icon is gone. I reloaded the game and clicked the info and got this.

Anyone else having issues?

Ferngully: The Last Rainforest

This was recommended to me in an app, and I had forgotten all about it. 1992. When I heard Batty talk, I wasn't sure at first, but it was Robin Williams. And a bit later I recognized Tim Curry's voice. Good stuff.
