sorry if this sort of post isn’t allowed, but I’m struggling to get guidance on making a portfolio. I am in the early stages of considering applying though scad is somewhere I’ve wanted to go for a while. I’m not sure if I want to go for illustration, character design, or sequential art, would it be best to focus my portfolio or include all three? would any of this art make good portfolio pieces, and in your opinion, do I have the potential to get a good scholarship? should I add studies like figure drawing and such? I’m also wondering if you should include multiple drawings together or keep them separate. all sorts of questions and I don’t really know where to go for answers.

im going to do more research but would appreciate some guidance, or if you have any resources.
