The situation with d4vd is completely disgusting. and Bandlab being silent on the whole issue and not issuing a public statement that they stand for justice for Celeste is really sickening. They basically propped this sicko’s entire career up because he was the first artist to go full mainstream in a somewhat major way, and even facilitated meet and greets with underage fans. TWO DAYS after the day she was k*lled by him. Not only did they not make any kind of statement at all, but they kept up all the sites in connection to him, including where you can financially support him buying his album. In the sites they’re glazing a child s*x offender who r*ped a child. Yes, we get it, he recorded all these songs in Bandlab and he had the Bandlab app in his phone, but he also recorded on his phone and had on that same phone over 40 terabytes of child p*rnpgraphy, specifically pictures OF CELESTE, and himself r*ping her. In light of the whole situation I’ve really lost respect for this platform and I hope someone in their corporate office or whatever sees this post and makes it right. We’re not asking Bandlab to slander this k*ller and monster, we are simply asking them to do what’s right. By at least saying SOMETHING. ANYTHING. I’m sure it’s been a PR nightmare for them all, but again. Not making ANY statement is leaving a sour taste in a lot of me and my friends who use bandlab’s mouths. And we’re not blaming Bandlab for Celeste situation. It’s just the silence. And the lack of acknowledgement that they helped him meet more minors during this event. And that they propped him up. In a major way. We’re all talking about it at school. Like come on a lot of Bandlab user base we are minors, or we were kids when we got introduced to this way of making music. Like still in elementary and middle school. They should stand with us. For us. And the literal children who keep this app going. But Bandlab tightlipped on this whole sh*tshow is very telling, and frankly, disappointing. I hope they learn something from this and think twice before propping up the next pdf. Like how do these big corporations not remember pdfs can be any age. d4vd is a sick person who groomed someone, and robbed a kid of their innocence and the life. Ugh poor Celeste.
