Indo aryans are only 15 percent of total indian population ancestry wise. Majority of indians trace there ancestry back to indus valley civilization.
Colonial-era administrators and historians Created theories like aryan invasion theory saying that the aryans invaded the Indus valley civilization now called (Sindhu Saraswati civilization SSC) and brought advance language and culture to india aka the white people.
But when the Indus valley civilization was discovered they could not believe that a civilization so advanced existed long before the vedas even existed. They said no other civilisation could be so advance they must have had help from the so called ” fair skinned people “.
So they spend decades trying to take away even our history from us the result exists in almost every history book in the world today.
They thought since north indians speak indo aryan languages they must also all belong to the aryan ancestry.
Thanks to Indian archeologists and their decades of hard work we were able to disprove all their bogus theories and now we know that the genetic makeup of the ancient Harappans directly matches the ancestral profile of modern Southeast Asians based on the Landmark 2019 DNA studies on skeletal remains from Rakhigarhi the largest known Harappan site in haryana.
The Indus valley civilisation declined because of climate change not because of the aryan invasion and no the the aryans did not replace us.
The aryans immigrated to india after decline of SSV due to climate change Only in very small herds over centuries.
The north Indians adopted the aryans linguistically which makes it 72 % linguistically but the aryans are only 20 % of the total biological north indian population today.
Even Still local traditions and cultures are what remained the most dominant today such as Bhakti , yoga , and the primary gods Like shiva , vishnu and brahma not the aryan secondary indra and agni gods.
The fact is that majority of us indians can trace our ancestry back to our ancient civilisation.
The people from the Sindhu Saraswati civilisation that travelled south after its decline ended up marrying into the southern indian tribes and the people that travelled across the north india ended up marrying with some aryans that migrated here but majority did not and eventually the minority indo aryans also adopted the local religion.
The aryans did contribute a lot to our culture but they are not all of us.
In the end we all can trace our ancestry back to the sindhu saraswati civilisation and i want people to not refer to north indians as just aryans or even Indo aryans .
