Who has yet to do their first jab and stalling?

Finally did my first jab last night, 9 days after I got the prescription!! I was stalling because I was scared. Some of you checked in on me to see if i had dispensed the script yet and started the first jab and honestly that was super encouraging, otherwise i probably would have stalled a few more days.

So who else is stalling and needs encouragement? Let us know so we can be your accountability buddies.

I'm so glad i just got it over and done with, i was super nervous but i know ill have more confidence for my second jab.

Let's get you started this week! x

First Jab Day! Do I reuse needle???

After stalling for one week I've finally got my 5mg kwikpen dispensed today at chemist warehouse! I'm starting on 2.5mg obviously and click counting 30 clicks.

Question- They gave me a free pack of 4 needles as the kwikpen doesn't come with needles.

SO can i reuse a needle?? As i only have 4 needles but intend on doing 2.5mg for 8 weeks, ill be jabbing 8 times so can one needle do 2 jabs? I've got alcohol swabs

Edit: I realise this is a dumb question so please be kind, this is all new to me.

Edit 2: I've done the jab now, I was so stressed but glad it's over haha I ended up using 2 needles because the first one didn't prime well (no medication came out), but the second needle sprayed some medicine out so i knew it was primed and ready to jab.

Is MJ truly life changing?

I keep reading that MJ has been a game changer, and I find that so inspiring, but what has it changed in your life??

I start my first dose this week and I'm in a reflective space right now. For me this is beyond just the weight loss goals, for a while I've felt very stuck in life and not living up to my full potential if that makes sense...

The past few years I withdrew from a lot of social events, networking and even dating!! I was kind of hiding away from life which is sad to think about, because i didn't feel confident in this bigger body. My goal is to lose 15kg.

Mind you I've been fortunate enough that most of my life i didn't have weight issues, but then perimenopause entered the chat and things shifted drastically, i didn't realise how much it had impacted other areas of my life until i stopped, looked around and thought, that's it, ive had enough of this, im wasting my life away and i need to get back out there!

So I'm just super curious to see what your experience has been beyond the weight loss.

I'd love to hear your stories so i don't feel alone in this. xx

First Week Jitters - What to expect?

Okay, I've been prescribed mounjaro 5mg pen (starting with 2.5mg click counting) by my GP, I'm so nervous I've had the script for a week now and not bought it!

Please help! I'm going to start this week, what do I need beforehand?? Alcohol swabs, needle bin, meal plan, crackers for possible nausea, what else do i need?

I've read somewhere people suggest small light meals on day of injection...

Also what apps are you using to track??

Thank you all! xx

Nervous Newbie

I've gained 15kg due to perimenopause, for months i worked with a personal trainer every week, and while i increased my strength and a little muscle, my visceral fat didn't move! I largely remained the same weight, got very disheartened and frustrated. QUESTION - Which would you recommend - Juniper, My Weight Loss Clinic, Youly etc ?? Thank you all!
