Togo clutch I recently finished
My first time using Togo Odessa for a clutch and, man, this leather is incredible.
Full build details:
The exterior and strap are both beige Togo calf from Weinheimer Leder. For the lining, I went with cedar Sully chèvre.
Reinforced areas include the zipper, d-ring loop, strap end, and the lining around the internal pocket. The zipper is reinforced with .7mm microfiber, while the strap end, d-ring loop, and lining all have a .2mm Velodon non-stretch fabric reinforcement.
For stitching, all visible stitching is done with 632 ecru Fil Au Chinois at 3.38mm, but for the turned edges I used 3.85mm round dent irons and .6mm cream Ritza.
For the edges, I used ecru Vernis edge paint, which has been polished with Columbus wax.
All hardware is gold plated, except the actual zipper tape which is a natural brass YKK Excella, also ecru.
