I have worked in the field, but I last wrote SEO blog posts in 2023, and I took time off to pursue my academic goals. It's been 3 years, and how do I get back in with an outdated portfolio?

Do you have advice for a newbie or someone who has taken a hiatus? I'm back and learning and unlearning and learning.

The industry is changing fast; the tools are new and improving and surprisingly expensive too for someone who's just starting again.

How do I create a portfolio/ update it? and actually get hired again

One of the biggest questions i have as a content writer is, where do you save all your published works?

what about the ghostwriting gigs? do you keep proof of those too?

i tried reposting all of my writings (mainly the blogs) on my google blogger account – although i wrote them, I don't want to be sued by old companies.

i have a huge gap of 3 years in my CV, and honestly, from time to time i have tried to explore new interests, but most of the time i have been doomscrolling and watching anime instead. how do i explain this in an interview? I have a degree in English Language and literature and a diploma in Diplomacy and International Relations. I watched this cartoon back in 2010ish about sheep working in a dream-making factory. They used pillows as flying cars to move about. Can someone please confirm whether this is a real cartoon? Coz I can't find it anywhere, and i don't think it's my imagination. i remember this one episode where someone had to sign an agreement, and one of the clauses was disadvantageous to the person who signed it. But later, when the person who made the agreement brought it up, the signature had disappeared, and when everyone searched for the signature under a magnifying glass, it turned out some bug had drunk the ink, so the signature disappeared.
