Why do most finance apps push their own products instead of actually helping you find what's best for you?

Every time I open a finance app I feel like I'm being sold something. The MF recommendations are suspiciously tilted towards their own AMC partners. The insurance suggestions feel like ads. Is there any platform in India that genuinely shows you all options and lets you decide without nudging you towards one? That feels like the actual problem nobody is solving.

Are "AI-powered" hearing devices actually effective for open-plan offices?

I work in a modern "open concept" office, which is an absolute nightmare for my hearing loss. There are glass walls everywhere, people constantly chatting across the room, and relentless ambient noise. My current hearing devices just amplify everything equally, meaning the background chaos completely drowns out the person sitting right next to me.

I keep reading about these new "AI-powered" models that supposedly scan the environment hundreds of times a second to isolate human speech. Is this legitimate technology or just marketing fluff?Which brand currently leads the market in "Speech in Noise" performance? I am willing to pay a premium price if it means I can comfortably function in meetings again without exhausting myself trying to lipread my coworkers.

Random question: are companies asking about AI-driven traffic yet?

Curious for people working with B2B clients — have businesses started asking about visibility inside ChatGPT or traffic from AI tools yet? Feels like awareness is increasing quickly, but I’m not sure whether companies care enough yet to actually track and optimize around this.I started monitoring referral patterns through Zen Reports because manually understanding AI traffic inside analytics got frustrating quickly. Curious whether anyone working with clients here is hearing similar conversations.

Are publishers already getting traffic from AI tools?

Curious whether writers and publishers here are seeing traffic coming from ChatGPT or Perplexity yet. It feels like people increasingly use AI tools to summarize, research and discover information, which made me wonder whether source websites are quietly benefiting through referrals or losing traffic altogether.I started tracking AI referrals more closely through Zen Reports because manually isolating these visits inside analytics became frustrating pretty quickly. Curious what others publishing online are seeing so far.

I have this friend of mine, he works as a cook in a restaurant and he's also the owner of the restaurant. He is a business genius, a real life Accio. But with all these qualities he has one weakness, women.

I remember the day he introduced his girlfriend to me. I was at the bar taking a few shots, turned to the window and I saw a familiar face. When I recognized his face, I called out his name. He seemed to have heard and turned to see who was calling him. As his eyes met me, his face brightened up and he ran towards the bar holding a girl’s hand. They entered the bar and went straight to where I was sitting. We shook hands and hugged each other just the way we used to do in the last 10 years. He turned to the girl standing beside him and introduced us to each other saying she was his girlfriend. Seeing the girl’s face closely, I remembered him showing me a picture of her just last week.

In my head I was like “ So soon?” Last week the conversation was about how he just met the girl last week, and now what, they are dating? I had no choice but to support my friend. But here’s the thing they broke up the week after the introduction. I won’t say I was not expecting it but I didn’t expect my friend to be so heart broken. Like, I caught this dude tearing up at work, asked him what was going on and he said it must be from the fryer. I knew that was just a cover up. Though I wasn’t that bothered he would eventually find another girl in the coming month. Sometimes I envy him, other times I pity him. As much as I do not like his dating life, he is still my friend.
