University is a Yes. A place where they provide smiting or pottery courses is also a Yes. I have submitted a Flying School that was rejected. What I did not yet submit was Driving schools or boat schools.
They kind of are a generic business but also are educational places and sometimes socialising for your hobbies.
A few weeks ago, they had closed my ticket without any result or information. I ranted via Helpchat amd received a solution and a confirmation mail a week later.
It's about a week now that my latest request is open without any response, but the default text promises feedback within a few hours.
How is your experience with the help chat?
It maxes on Level 49 for Great League. Best I have, but barely have the candy's. If I start now with walking it still takes a lot of time, so never ever will I be done this season. How do you see it in the future?

Bin leider handwerklich sehr unerfahren, hatte damit generell nie Berührungspunkte, obwohl mir der Gedanke mit Holz zu arbeiten Spaß macht.
Ich bin in ein paar Vereinen aktiv, bei denen die Garnituren echt dringend mal bearbeitet werden müssten: (stark) abschleifen und dann neu lackieren.
Ich habe 0 eigenes Werkzeug, will das aber trotzdem machen. Die Frage ist, wie? Schutzbrille und ggf. Atemschutzmaske (je nach Arbeitsort). Hab gesehen dass es spezielle Bierzeltgarnitur-Lacke gibt, kann aber natürlich nicht abschätzen wieviel man braucht (pro Tisch + 2 Bänke). Aber das Wichtigste: was für eine Leistung braucht die Maschine und welches Papier?
Will genug Leistung haben, damit ich nicht eine Stunde pro Tisch abschleife. Die Garnituren haben ja auch ggf. Nieten drin, würde halt drüber schleifen - wäre das ein Problem?
Ich habe nicht vor alles auseinander zu schrauben, sondern nur die Oberflächen eventuell die Seiten bearbeiten.
Was könnt ihr einem Anfänger empfehlen?

After 10 days of Niantic review, they are now in regular Voting. 'this new?
I nominated about 60 or 70 poi within the last 4 weeks and the last 3 days I received dozens of completion mails that my submission was decided. The great majority was denied with BS reasons.
I know that Germany has issues with vinyl trail markers: although valid, they are hit or miss in the review and appeals as well.
But not only these were mostly rejected but some metal signs, some club houses and soccer fields were, too. For being in the wrong location, not being accessible or on prp. Total BS and have to waste my appeals again on slam dunk stuff.
Is there a new bot-network running around rejectig everything, like a few years ago in the Netherlands where everything was approved? What is happening? I do not intend to go on those trails again in the next days to submit everything and hope for good luck.
P.S.: I reviewed already more than 16.000 poi and have a few hundreds accepted. I am confident that I understand the process and criteria.

Waited a day, gave both Upgrades. One day passes with both in Queue. One gets into voting, one day later it is accepted.
2026-07-16, the second poi is still stuck in Queue, although upgraded. Since 3 days.
