Mark Levinson Lexus RCF GT3

A quick mod for the RCF gt3. I really love this casting, very accurate to the actual car which made the mod easy. It has a separate wing, separate roll cage etc. the only 2 things I don’t like is missing mirrors and the iconic L-shape DRL. Luckily redo the headlights and mirrors are not too hard on this one.

Rowe BMW M4 GT3

This is the most challenging custom I’ve ever done so far. The painting and decals are complicated and I found out that I need to grind the rear wheel wells to lower the car after decals were applied, which messed up the side decals. I had to use paint to fix the side decals and it left some discoloration. If you’re modding this M4, grind the rear wheel wells first! The rear proportions are wrong from Mattel (too tall).

Aston Martin Vantage GT3

This white version Vantage GT3 from Mattel is perfect for a Car Blanche mod. White car also shows imperfection easily, I spent so much time on those taillights my eyes started hurting. Thankfully the decals are easy to make and apply since the team lacks sponsorship at the moment😅.

Ferrari 365 GTB now completed

Completed the livery and added details, redone the headlights and wheels.
This hot wheels casting did not look right out of the box, not sure what was the problem, hopefully it’s closer to the actual #64 car now.

I’m building the yellow one next. Dm me if you want to transform your 365 like this (with a fee of course), I can do a small batch together.

Need advise on headlights

I’m working on the Ferrari 365 GTB, currently rebuilding the headlight cover with blisters. I got the shape about right but not sure what’s the best way to attach the cover to the headlight housings. I’m worried the glue may destroy the clear look of the edge of the lights, anyone know what glue or any method to attach them clean?

🙏 thanks!

Jaguar XJC v12

I love modding these newer castings, so rewarding. Anyone into these old Jags?

Painted front and back + window trim and other details. Added few decals and bearing wheels from AliExpress.

Full livery for Aston Martin Vantage GT3

Couldn't find water slide decals for the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 2024 as I mentioned in the previous post, so I ended up printing my own.

It's really challenging to apply since I only have an inkjet printer; acrylic clear coat can only protect it to a certain extent. It took me several tries to successfully apply them without destroying the print. I'm happy that this project is finally finished.

Next project: Jaguar XJS.

Mazda RX3

Bought it for my son originally, but couldn’t help to mod it. Added the details front and back, made a pair of mirrors and got those rotary style wheels for it. Sorry son, you can’t touch this one now.

Ford Shelby GT500

Remember this casting? Great livery but came with empty nose and tail for the mainline, what a shame for an otherwise great looking car.

I painted the nose, tail, added details on mirrors, wings and exhaust. Got a set of wheels that match the car yesterday and this car is finally complete.

Lexus LFA

Swapped the wheels and redo the spoiler, now it’s adjustable. Should’ve went with bearing wheels, it’s always hard to have smooth rolling wheels with those brakes behind.

First time posting here, hope people like it.
I finally found this vantage at dollar tree, a really good casting for mainline, proportions are right, lots of details built-in. Not easy to mod though since the shape of the metal has a lot of imperfection. If you are capable of grinding the body and re-paint it this casting has a lot of potentials.

I only did the wheel swap, lowered it a bit and adding details. Couldn’t find the water slide decals that are close to the real car so leaving it blank for now. Astons are just beautiful, making this one so fun to work on.
