SVT in a strawberry field

Ok, not in the field but shortly after. I was picking strawberries with my family. It’s hot out but I really don’t think I was dehydrated. I ran up a hill with my toddler to catch the tractor ride back to the main area, sat on it for a good 10 min, then I had an episode of SVT about 10 minutes after that. I’m wondering if the histamine from touching so many strawberries and being in the field could have caused it? I hadn’t had an episode in over 3 years.

Has anything similar happened to you? I’m so sad that this has come back after many years without a scary heart episode. Nothing has been found wrong with my heart, though this all started after the cov V which put me into SVT and A fib, leading to many heart tests and a diagnosis of IST, POTS, and SFN. But like I said, my heart has been fine the past few years now other than some palpitations here and there. Bums me out so much and makes me feel scared.

I ate one tiny strawberry and usually don’t have issues with them anyway, but I had an episode of SVT about 10 minutes after picking which hasn’t happened to me in 3 years. Cash flow issues being freelance

My husband and I freelance and thus our checks are unpredictable. They typically arrive within a net 30 but they can come sooner or later. Issues arise at times where they’re delayed, during which periods we accumulate debt for basic necessities (groceries, healthcare, and bills). When this happens, we’re just waiting for a check to arrive so we can get back to zero sometimes.

As a busier season comes in, we’re looking into ways to dole out our income for a better cash flow. Right now it feels like we’re either rich or poor. By rich, I just mean we have enough plus a little extra ha. Things inevitably happen (with the car, kids, whatever) when we do have an ok amount in the bank, and it comes crashing back down to the bare minimum, waiting for a check again, etc.

We need to get out of this loop.

Does anyone use an app or other service to help you in this scenario? Simply putting a portion of each check into savings doesn’t seem to be working for us. We’ve used stocks as a way to keep money tucked away, but when things go south with the checks or it’s a slow season, we end up pulling our investments.

We seem to make enough, it’s just that it comes in waves versus a traditional job that pays biweekly and things get all wacky. Would love to hear from others with an unpredictable pay schedule.
