Picked up few agates by the field today.

Found it on my morning walk around one potato field in Central Bohemian region of Czech Republic.

Went for a walk to area where river sediments meet with marine sediments. Found some agate and fossilized sea shell just few feet apart.

These types of agate and many more can be found on Jizera/Cidlina Pleistocene fluvial terraces in Central Bohemian region, Czech Republic.

Walking by the field I spotted suspicious rock. Took it with me and later rinsed the dirt off.

In the morning I went for a stroll by the edge of the wheat field and spotted few agates there. 🥔 Potato fields are already occupied by freshly sprouted plants and so I looked for some unoccupied fields in the surrounding area, suitable for rock hounding.
