Hi everyone. I tried ChatGPT to guide me through and it was slightly helpful, rather get opinions of people here before I call an appliance technician.

I have a KitchenAid KEBK101SSS04 electric oven. It is not heating properly.

When setting it to bake at 350 the digital oven thermometer stalls at 317 still “preheating”. A regular analog over thermometer sitting on center rack says 250. It stays here with the oven on for 30 minutes.

Both the bake and broil elements, which are on top, do turn on and glow so power is going to those.

I can get into diagnostic mode and there is no error code stored. I do not see a test cycle that I can run in diagnostic mode.

I just attempted to bring the oven to temperature using the broil function set to 350 and the oven actually hit temperature.

Does this sound like a bake element relay/circuit problem and how easy is this to replace, or am I going the wrong direction?

So I need a new medium power rod as stated in title. I broke mine trying to save myself from losing my balance on a boat due to an another tracker boats wave that I didn’t see coming.

I was doing good with how it was throwing my lures as most of my lures were within that spec range. It was a lews American hero spinner rod. Lure rating of 1/4-1/2 oz., so hoping for something similar but an actual better rod.

I have a reel I can take from another rod where that one needs upgraded so I’ll have a Shimano sedona fj reel that will go to the new rod.

Any advice is appreciated. Hoping to stay under $120 as my budget

Here are the rods/reels that I have at the moment. Right now I fish some small lakes around North Carolina which to be honest are probably pressured since I’m not traveling a lot to find a better area and/or I don’t know enough of what I’m doing wrong. Next time I go, I’m just doing a drop shot worm or wacky rig. I also will fish on occasion at a bigger lake (Lake Gaston) at a friend’s lake house. I’ll typically fish with my younger son or on my own as a bank fisherman. All are spinning rods unless noted. Am I missing any particular rod/reel combos or something should be changed up? I’m willing to catch anything besides trees/branches which I’ve been pretty good at doing.
