How whispers, winks and nudges suggest Ottawa Charge and PWHL expect to make CTC full-time home
Each week more and more ‘rumours’ emerge… I wouldn’t be surprised but I’m starting to suspect

I just hope everyone has fun 🙂
Regardless of who else advances, pretty sure Ottawa will have Games 3 and 4. Does anyone have any insight to the dates? Concerned it’s going to overlap with Ottawa Race Weekend and make things 10x more chaotic…
I can’t remember if last year there was ‘finals’ merch for teams in the final or if it was just ‘playoff’ merch; anyone remember?
Going to CTC tonight a bit early to avoid traffic chaos, so will likely be grabbing food there to make life easier. What’s should I try? What should I avoid? Tell me all about the food 🤤
Interesting development on the Ottawa location
“The CEO of Alto, the Crown corporation in charge of the proposed Toronto-Quebec City high-speed rail line, says a station in the heart of downtown Ottawa is simply not feasible.”
For anyone using UberOne, I got 6 months free and it goes until end of October. Will it auto-renew in October, or will my membership end? If the former, is it better to cancel it now to prevent auto-renewal, or will I lose my remaining months? I know some subscription apps let you keep your remaining balance if you cancel, while others just end all the perks immediately.
Just trying to determine if I should get ahead of things now or wait until September. Don’t want to risk forgetting, or it being a hassle and dragged on until the auto-renewal kicks in 🫠 I’ve heard horror stories
Since there are no dates yet, I assume nothing is definitive. But does anyone know if there will be any shuttles to get to the CTC from Glebe area? Like if a bar does one, or from TDPlace, etc? Trying to get an idea of what that commute may look like
Ottawa’s main business and tourism organizations want to see high-speed rail bring passengers to a station in the downtown core, saying it “deserves to arrive in the heart of Ottawa.”
