My wife loves rocks. She's not into fancy crystals or rare specimens. She likes rocks that are interesting looking and can be put around landscaping and potted plants, not too different than how a child likes rocks. I know nothing about rocks or geology. We have a week off of work coming up at the end of the month. She took on a huge project that's finally over and I want to plan something nice for her. I'd like to take her to hunt for rocks, or go look at rocks via short hikes, or buying inexpensive rocks. We can travel in the US.
