How do you guys feel about bamboo fabrics?

I've always found bamboo fabric to be lovely and soft and but I think ih doesn't hold up well - at all.

Like in the last decade, the bamboo stuff I've owned has invariably seen the worst cases of pilling and ripping.

I bought a lovely bamboo tank top last summer, only to realize it looked ten years old by September, and I treat my clothing very carefully (especially if I've bought it new at full price!).

Does anyone uses Bamboo undies for travel?

Or just everyday?

Like how do they hold up? Any issues?

Natural fibre clothing suggestions

Recommend some natural fiber exercise clothing. Especially underwear.

I've always had back/butt acne since I was a teen. It seemed to clear up a fair amount after I moved from a more humid climate to a dryer one, but in the last two years I moved back to a swampy state and it has come back with a vengeance.

I've tried a lot of different hygiene methods and laundry soaps and nothing seems to work. I recently read about someone switching to cotton underwear and it reducing their butt acne.

I'm totally down for this as I have been trying to phase out plastics from my life slowly anyway, but I'm having high school flashbacks to chafed thighs and feeling like there's a wet towel in my shorts.

If anyone has some recommendations for natural fiber exercise clothes I'd love to hear it.

I've read for some people switching to cotton underwear helped with this issue.

Does Moisture wicking fabrics that help you cool ?

Just wanted to hear your opinions since its summer in my region and the world is literally and figuratively on fire.

So, this was bugging me: do moisture wicking fabrics really keep you cool? A Google search reveals that they do - or at least they are asserted to do so.

I have not found any objective, quantitative evidence that these fabrics work to keep you cool as advertised.

My own anecdotal experience is that if it is hot enough, I will sweat through whatever I’m wearing and will be hotAF no matter what.

Nobody told me that switching from cotton to micromodal underwear would make that big of a difference

Ladies, I need to share something that has genuinely improved my life.

Due to living in a hot and humid country where the temperature here goes as high as 40°, the longest time I have been dealing with constant irritation, sweat buildup, and bad odour that stays no matter what I tried.

I switched detergents, wore only cotton, followed all the hygiene advice that I can but the problem never seem to fully went away.

So a few weeks ago I decided to try different kind of fabric to see if it make any changes like the micromodal fabric underwear (the super soft, lightweight kind).

I was honestly skeptical at first, but the difference was surprising.

Day 1: By evening the usual sticky, uncomfortable feeling was almost gone. The smell that used to bother me? Basically disappeared.

But since it's only one day so I tested it for a few more days before also tried to switching back to my old cotton ones for a few days and yep, the issues came right back, which made me switch to micromodal again and everything improved.

These feel incredibly soft, stay breathable even in humid weather, and don’t trap moisture like regular cotton does.

I’m honestly never going back. If you’ve been facing the same issue as me, like struggling with irritation or just want underwear that actually feels fresh all day, try switching the material or fabric to micromodal briefs or hipsters.

Also I'm curious that has anyone else made a similar switch and noticed a big difference?

I've been buying jockey underwear for a while since they're comfortable but honestly the price is starting to hurt my wallet.

I'm wondering if anyone has found cheaper alternatives that feel similar in terms of comfort, fit and durability?

I've also tried Freecultr, Clovia and while I love their comfort and fit, I also wanted to see if there are other brands that I can try.

I don't mind switching brands as long as they don't feel cheap or lose shape after a few washes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
