I work from home and my router/modem combo I have with Xfinity is very old and outdated. I can get an upgraded one for free thru Xfinity but unfortunately the apartment complex I live in has a deal with them or something and I would need to have them do this for me. They are a nightmare to deal with and I’d rather just buy one on my own.

I am looking for something that is $100 or less(if that even exists). I do not do gaming or need anything that is super duper fast, but I do work from home and stream tv on YouTube TV every day.

I am absolutely clueless on this and would appreciate suggestions. I am not against purchasing refurbished as well.

I have never done this before but the idea seems so very intriguing to me.

I am a 44/M in the USA. I only speak English unfortunately. Looking for a penpal in any country though.
