Questions for Singapore Airlines pilots

I've been getting more and more curious about the aviation industry and was hoping to ask some of my questions to the pilots working in SIA.

How's your life been?

I am thinking of joining the cadet programme that SIA offers, for anyone who went through that, how was it like? Do you love your life now? Does flying remain just as enjoyable as when you first started? Do you miss a lot of time with your family? Of course seniority plays a part in you being able to adjust your schedules but what about before you got to do that, was life still manageable? Is life a lot more exciting as compared to a typical 9 to 6 corporate job, in my head it is but I'm not a pilot so I would not know for sure?

Had a conversation with a friend recently and she seems to worship Caucasians even though the person she was talking about displayed so many red flags. Just wondering if Singaporeans know not all the Caucasians they see in Singapore are “rich and high functioning“ but can be big weirdos and creeps too? They are just as much of a human race as Asians. What are y‘all‘s thoughts?

Edit: My apologies if the question came out racist, I was just genuinely wondering if many Singaporeans feel that Caucasians are better than Asians because it seems that some other friends feel that way and it got me confused.
