I'm thinking of booking myself 4/5 days in Tallin Estonia, travelling as a solo 40 year old female.
For those that have been before, would you say it's safe for a solo female? Anything in particular to watch out for?
I'm gonna do a day trip over to Helsinki so any advise for there would be appreciated too

Sitting having a few bevvies and the rest with my husband with the Chems on. I put this on. I'm trying to describe the pull and the feeling that it gives when you hear the Star Guitar coming in. It's like no other. It's most likely up there with the chems best known tunes along with Hey Boy.. but it hits different.
The only way I can describe it (I don't know if anyone else is a musician) but it's like Star Guitar is the root of a tonic triad or the root in a perfect cadence, it just pulls you back home to a place of utter euphoria, joy, comfort, knowing, peace and comfort 🙌
What boots is everyone wearing just now for hiking?
My trusted timberlands which I've been wearing for 10+ years have given up the ghost. While the boot in itself is still solid, the adhesive on the sole has come loose.
I've been looking at Saloman X Ultra and Scarpa Terra GTX.
I've got some really high mile and multiple summit days coming up (The White Mounth and 6 Glenshee Munros) so looking for something solid, but not too heavy
Done Ben Vorlich this morning followed by Stuc a Chroin.
Ben Vorlich was good, straight forward route all the way to the top. Then a pretty steep descent down before heading up Stuc a Chroin.
We didn't do the usual scrambling route, instead going to the east side and up a really really steep and scary as fuck section. I cried a little on the ascent up the eastern flank (blaming my hormones) but made the summit safely with the support of my brother and friend. Another 2 ticked off the list and a crazy scene of pride and achievement.

I bought a Fila cagoule off vinted last week, it wad described as 'brand new without tags' and the description said 'brand new'.
It got delivered today and I inspected it and it's in immaculate condition... I tried it on, fits perfectly. I put my hands in the pockets and I found a scrunched up tissue. For the avoidance of doubt, it's a tissue you would blow your nose with.
The jacket is in immaculate condition and I'm happy with the purchase overall.
Would you just ignore the tissue, or would you message the seller or mention it in feedback?
I don't want to be a dick and complain about nothing, but it makes me think it perhaps has been worn, albeit, still in perfect condition

I was om the bus this morning and passing through the Seagate... I seen a sign in the window of one of the wee corner shops, just past Gellatly Street - it said they had student accommodation available and also looking for someone to fill an admin post.
Sorry can't give any more details as I only seen the sign in the passing, but I've seen a few posts asking about work and accommodation so figured this might help someone?
