Why do Zettour and Rudersdorf trust Tanya so much?

Why do Zettour and Rudersdorf trust Tanya during the coup planning(before she agrees with Zetour to kill Rudersdorf)?

Before she agrees with Zettour she's constantly been clear to state that she wanted to stay out of politics(her insisting that she was just a soldier), so why do the trust her so much in the planning of the coup?

We saw that Rudersdorf didn't trust Lergen so why was Tanya different? Or was it just out of necessity since Tanya and the 203rd could probably stop the coup?

Do we ever get numbers for the casualties Drake a Mikel take going against Tanya?

Afaik Drake and Mikel never talk about their casualties but I think the only operations they've done included Tanya and the number of troops they have under their command is constantly going down.

  1. It starts with 2 regiments when they ambush Tanya from the Queen of Anjou so 192 under Drake

  2. When Tanya attacks the Queen of Anjou in harbour it says that there's a regiment of commonwealth mages and a regiment of federation mages so 192 combined now.

  3. When they're doing the submarine mission into the Entente they have 3 battalions now, so 108 combined.

So are we just supposed to assume they're losing 90 mages every time they encounter the 203rd? It seems odd though because they don't mention their casualty rates being this high in any of their POV chapters.

Silva's and Zeno's techniques?

Why are Silva's and Zeno's techniques so showy? Zeno has giant glowing dragons and Silva has giant explosive balls. The rest of the family has more "assassin-like" methods, Illumi's needles, Miluki's long range tech and Killua's general sneakiness.

Is it bc those Silva and Zeno are strong enough they don't need to hide? It just seems odd compared to the rest of the family.

Has a weaker opponent ever beaten a stronger opponent in a fair 1v1(in the anime)?

People keep using Morel's statement that Nen battles aren't just decided by output to defend ridiculous matchup but his statement is show to be blatantly false in almost every 1v1.

The only time I can think of a stronger opponent losing a 1v1 is Gon vs Genthru and for that fight Gon made a strategy specifically to counter Genthru, practiced reacting to his ability, and Genthru couldn't kill Gon or he'd lose the cards.

(Kurapika vs Uvo would be the second example but I would say that they were pretty relative after account for the nen conditions)

Netero against the RG also but I think he's a very special case and not the general case Morel was talking about.

Consistently throughout the series raw power is show to be enough to win fights. Gon and Killua almost solely rely on raw power, in Heaven's Arena they win by simply overpowering their opponents, in Yorknew they get completely overpowered by the troop (w/o the troop using abilities), in the CA arc they simply overpower the fodder ants (see Owl and Bat vs Gon where he just tanks every attack). We also see Gon lose to Knuckle the second to last time simply b/c he didn't have enough aura.

Even against the Royal Guards the only reason they even got close to beating Youpi is b/c he was getting jumped(so not a 1v1) and b/c Knuckle and Meleoron have busted support abilities. We see that in 1v1s Kite an incredibly experience hunter gets killed by a newborn Pitou, we even see Pitou that a direct hit from the strongest hunter alive unscathed b/c of the sheer difference in power.

So TLDR the stronger fighter almost always wins the fight and Morel's statement doesn't make sense to use when arguing a winner of a fight, especially when talking about the Royal Guards.

(Talking about the anime b/c I haven't read the manga so I could be proven wrong there for all I know)

Knov going insane has nothing to do with zetsu

Knov never even touched Pouf's aura he went insane simply from seeing it, he even repeats this sentiment after escaping the palace. He then compares his experience with Gon and Killua being shocked they were still going to fight Pitou.

He doesn't mention anything about how it was because he was in Zetsu. Not only that he says how it was simply looking at the Pouf's aura that did this to him and the compares it to Gon and Killua who were probably immersed in it. None of these comparisons would make sense if Zetsu made his experience worse.

Togashi made Knov go insane to compare to those who challenged the guards and makes clear comparisons to show it's just because Knov lacks the mental, not bc he was unlucky and happened to be in Zetsu.

How does Communism work out in a world that isn't truly post scarcity(as in a world where every resource not just necessities is practically unlimited)?

If there's scarcity a moneyless society seems odd to have? It's possible (lottery system, wait list ect.) but my question is why? You can have (non scarce) things declared free while still having money to purchase scarce goods, what good does eliminating money provide(lottery system, wait list and first come first serve seem very inefficient).

But also just the idea of a classless society seems not to work out, for example a factory owner by the workers. At some scale to be efficient their needs to be someone organizing the workers, thousands of workers(the size of some large scale factories) can't work together efficiently without organized leadership and by adding leadership are you not adding classes?

Anyone who works for the government will have some form of authority, I don't see how that's not a form of class differentiation. Police officers, judges, wardens, elected officials all will hold some form of authority.

-I'm assuming that people don't advocate for a truly stateless society and mean it in the sense of a society where the government isn't a tool of oppression since any truly stateless society has a lot bigger issues.

  1. Hell is definitely intentionally letting all the sinners in it die as after Fraud we know it could definitely stop the machines at any time.
  2. Hell almost definitely caused the extinction of humanity cutting off its supply of souls(also just curious is this inspired by Doom the "hell expedition for energy/resources goes wrong")
  3. The Gabriel terminal says "Not even the fast encroaching End of Hell mattered to him anymore."
  4. Even if it's not killing itself it's still letting all the sinners and it's playthings die in exchange for machines that will die soon after killing everything?

So does anyone have thoughts on why Hell is doing this? It doesn't seem to match up with the rest of Hell's personality with it keeping sinners alive to torture them(Mannequin terminal), so why?

From all the lore on Hell I don't think there's ever been any reason for it to be suicidal, afaik it just characterizes Hell as sadistic with an incredibly twisted idea of love(lowk just a big deathcatcher).
