So I got accepted as a transfer student for fall 2026 but l only got the presidential scholarship and my fasfa. I really want to attend UMiami but I don’t know what else other I should do to be able to afford it. I plan on finding my own apartment and roommates to house with to make it cheaper on that end but tuition is still the problem. :/ pls help
I’m an external in-state transfer applicant. Though I only have a gpa of a 3.49, I have already completed all of my general ed courses besides a second science class. I have also submitted my resume which showed my progress in clubs I joined and how I actively participated and what I did within them. I have also gotten shadowing experience from a psychologist and a psychiatrist.
I also want to note that with these stats and with the same essay I got into NYU, Trinity University, USD, USF, UH with honors, MSU, Fordham, and Southwestern U. Each of these also gave me a scholarship with that. Please let me know or in reality just share what anyone else knows.
