Okay no intent to start a rivalry war here. But I have some residential and light land clearing to do with most trees no larger than 12 inches or so in diameter. I’m looking at purchasing a dependable saw that I can keep for, hopefully 10 or more years, that will get me through occasional use (ie storms, etc). From checking the price and specs of these two, they appear to be comparable models of these brands. Considering experience of use, dependability, ease of use, features, guidance, repair history, etc., which of these two would you suggest? Thanks!

I have some residential and heavy brush arbor trees to cleanup. Largest trees about 12-16 inches in diameter. No intended firewood use. Need a solid go-to option for general cleanup and occasional failed trees at home. Any guidance on which of these two Stihls you’d suggest? Thanks!

Could anyone provide recommendations for a gas powered chainsaw for general rural home use…occasional removing of fallen limbs, small-diameter trees, etc. maybe in below $350 price range? Thanks in advance?
