£12 Slap Up Full English - Castleford

This is the “slammer” breakfast from KC Kitchen in Castleford. This one is missing beans and tomatoes that are included in the price.

Bacon, sausage, hash brown, spam, eggs, chips, fried bread, black pudding, toast, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, chips, coffee or tea.

Couldn’t finish mine. Great for £12 🤤

Cheesy Living Co. Charcuterie Board

Went to The Cheesy Living Company in Oakwood, Leeds recently. They’ve got one in the city and Pudsey as well.
This is their charcuterie board for two.
All really unusual kinds of cheese, Yorkshire, Venison, and fennel salamis, as well as braesola, crackers, pickles….🥒
Definitely worth checking out if you’re into that stuff.

Bought or Built Grill & Smoker

Hi. I’m new here so apologies if this is a novice question.

I have some space in the garden and was thinking about building a brick bbq/smoker and pizza oven. Does anyone know whether it’s worth the time and effort?

I don’t have an enormous budget, maybe £500-£600.

The pizza oven could just be me being too adventurous. 🤣

Any advice greatly appreciated.

The Abbey Inn - Highly Recommended

Just next to Byland Abbey, near Ampleforth, North Yorkshire. One of the nicest meals I’ve had for a long time.

This is their venison haunch, asparagus, faggot and calearic puree (although they did describe it much better than that!)
