Not saying this is any kind of confirmation of anything of course. But as seeing this sprite and specifically its depiction of the shadow-cast outline of Noelle's antler immediately flashed my brain to The Knight, it's such a fascinating and incredibly specific tiny visual detail that could mean everything or nothing. On one hand it could show both Noelle's capacity for both darkness and light, and it could be (if the theory is true) foreshadowing a parallel with the weird route ending if what is actually happening there is that Kris and Noelle are fusing together to become The Knight, or else continuing down a path (through The Depths) that ends with that outcome. On the other hand it could just be a small detail to add some visual depth to the sprite, or a red herring, or a visual parallel to Des if she truly is The Knight, or something else altogether that i can't even imagine! Such is the genius of Toby Fox I suppose! To even get people to zero in one such tiny details shows the trust that you've built with your audience for your art and your skill.

(Yes i know this isnt the right Bulborb, it was the electricity that kicked my butt anyway)
