When people say it’s harder to argue with a stupid person it’s probably just because the point they are trying to make isn’t as good as they think it is.
I have seen way too many people get into an argument and then say “the reason I bro doesn’t get it is because that guy is just too stupid” they usually have a really bad argument.
Whenever I have to make a point to someone that is actually not a smart person they are often more willing to cooperate than stereotypes would suggest which is why I think this theory that people have is just a result of overinflated ego.
