I don’t know any of the lore and kinda just assumed nobody was related at first cause “psshh, they are just silly pvp characters who kill eachother!” even tho I know they aren’t just that now but the assumption stuck, until I saw some random interaction vinestaff and shuriken had at the start of a match and I think shuriken called vinestaff sis or something?? I tried searching up but I don’t trust ai overview, please someone tell me so I know to look out for when people try to ship the wrong characters

the other day I found a post that was critisizing regretevator and yk, I’m curious, I wanna see why people view the game as bad… and its literally just homophobia. no real critisism of the game, “oh they queerbait everything” like ???

I swear 90% of the hate I see on this game is either homophobia or people who go “normal elevator better”. the 10% is just people who don’t personally enjoy the game (exagerated honestly, the 10% is way lower)

yes, dandys world is a flawed game and deserves a lot of the critisism it gets, like how the developers keep prioritizing adding skins or new toons rather than improving the actual game, some bad aspects of the game aren’t even talked about like the balancing issues or how neglected the interactions/gossip features are, but some people are going around genuinely saying that Qwel is greedy??

I think some people have forgotten what other roblox games are like, cause nearly every other game on roblox is so much worse than dandys world when it comes to spending robux ingame, there are hundreds of crappy roblox games that shove robux transactions in your face every 5 seconds, there are games that promote actual gambling via robux and even the high quality games will have pay to win or just generally more expensive gamepasses

have you not seen warrior cats ultimate edition? they have 50 gamepasses that are mostly more expensive than the skin packs in dandys world, it cost 750 robux just to make your cat slightly bigger in wcue, and thats a high quality and popular game, or be a silly seal which is another really good game that has way more gamepasses in dandys world, nearly all of which offering less content and being more expensive (except the 2 extra slots passes). dandys world literally only has two year round skin packs that only cost 200 and then extra sticker slots, they are basically just cosmetics and then theres some other skins available every now and then that also cost only 200, its basically just a way to fund the game while still getting something in return, now lets compare that to meleeniacs which is a high quality (though unpopular) game, their only gamepasses are also skins (also the ingame currency but whatev), but their only skinpack cost 2000 robux, that is 10x more than dandys world skin packs, and they only give you 7 skins for that, its not like they’re super high quality either, they’re just regretevator skins, I was thinking of buying it until I saw the price cause thats the equivalent of 40 dollars for me, you can buy the individual skins too but just one skin cost 335 robux which is more than 5 skins in dandys world, btw nobody in the tiny meleeniacs fandom is even critisizing that insane price either, when I tried talking abt it people defended the price of them

a few people probably also reffer to the merch that they are making when calling qwel greedy, which is also pretty stupid, they make the plushies cause people really want them, I for one want to buy the Goob plush once its available (even tho I technically already have one) its not greediness, its literally giving people the merch they want, plus the money that comes from it helps the game

I repeat, dandys world has flaws, but the gamepass aspect is not one of them, far from it. dandys world is so much better than most roblox games when it comes to that, infact just better than a lot of games in general like even cookie run kingdom is worse than dandys world when it comes to paid features and cookie run kingdom is seen as one of the best mobile games when it comes to that

biggest issue with my playstyle is a lot of the time my braincells leave me and I start trying to chase people down or I run into the enemy team alone and they all end up killing me or I’m just way too reckless in general, so I often have a high death count (unless im a healer/hyperlaser).

as long as my team don’t run away from me, I’m very good at using medkit cause I actually figured out how to properly use his abilities and get a lot of healing done, one problem is that I am horrible at using his phinisher, I know how to use all of scythes abilities very well to avoid getting hit while dealing a lot of damage, I’m just too reckless so I can get outnumbered and killed.

I still have no idea what I’m doing when using boombox but I still do really well everytime. biograft was the first one I started using when I picked up the game again cause sword was taken and he looked easiest, I don’t really think while using him I just spam and try to kill everyone, he might he the reason I’m so reckless tho lol. I somewhat know how to use vinestaff? kinda? I do alright as her but I don’t play her often cause im way better at medkit, I know how to play skateboard too but he goes so fast I just end up spamming.

I’m pretty decent at hyperlaser but I don’t get to play him often cause theres usually a better hyperlaser main in the servers I join, sword is quite basic so I don’t play him often either but he is good, and I also don’t play rocket much but when I do I’m decent

honestly, the okay tier is an overstatement, cause I’m far too reckless as banhammer and don’t do that well, subspace I’m probably okay with but he is in a similar situation as hyperlaser, coil I also kinda spam cause theres so many controls to get used to though I have a rough understanding and have done alright as him before

slingshot I rarely ever played, just not the best at the constant quick movement and having to have good aim, and then I think I only ever played shuriken in randomized rounds though I was alright when those happened, katanna I only ever tried once when I was still brand new and I sucked so I never tried him again

this is a really popular trio in the fandom, and yet, none of them have any interactions with eachother. its weird and stupid that they don’t cause they have pretty good potential for interactions, they’re all holiday animals and Eclipse could have an interesting dynamic with the other two considering wolves hunt deer and rabbits, and then theres the fact Cocoa is chocolate which is toxic to wolves, Rudie and Eclipse both glow for blackouts too

and heres the rant: I hate how neglected interactions are for this game, they are the perfect way to implement lore, characters and character dynamics and generally give infomation, as well as being something entertaining to read. but despite how easy they are to add they barely add any new interactions to the game, especially to the event toons, it sucks having Rudie as a favourite but only having like 10 interactions from him to read, mind you there have been two easter and christmas updates but the toons from those updates have basically nothing, even the mains, apparently making whole songs for the mains and making 50 skins is easier than a fair amount of interactions, its very apparent how neglected they are seeing how few interactions Squirm got upon release compared to Yatta when she was released. its disappointing and a plain stupid decision they have no excuse for, and a lot of the interactions we do have just feel kinda barebones, maybe thats because I have been playing regretevator where the developers care a lot more about the interactions of the characters so maybe thats on me for comparing the dandys world cast which are all supposed to be from a kid friendly cartoon characters to regretevator which is supposed to have every character be very unique from one another

anyway its fun to draw these guys, I like decided to make Cocoa have more of a rabbit body and changed the pale red on Eclipse to yellow cause it looks better imo, also swapped the thing around her neck to a bandanna

like seriously how do people think this was legit, literally nobody with that kind of avatar was going around calling themselves “retro” or whatever, the closest you can get to that are the og wannabes which had nothing to do with avatars.

its all targeted at stylized avatars/cosplays, basically just a bad excuse to harass a bunch of people with that type of avatar for a completely fabricated reason. avatars most commonly used as examples of “retroslop” were made by people who were purposely exagerating and mocking stylized avatars, nobody uses those exagerated avatars except ragebaiters, or very rarely a random kid who just got robux and wanted to put on whatever they thought looked good.

its been getting dragged like crazy, random people and games get hated for what is essentially no reason, the term is entirely meant for pointless hate just for the sake of it, a while ago I was playing Meleeniacs (which is a game where you don’t play as your avatar btw) and some random guy got mad at me for my avatar and claimed it as ‘retroslop’ and it was literally just an r6 avatar with colour, also really weird they were harassing me over that when the game we were playing had the same developers as Regretevator

also incredibly annoying that Regretevator is so targeted by this just because one of the npcs gets used as a “retroslop” example constantly, simply cause its a colourful r6 character. then people who never played the game classify the whole game as bad just because of that

annoying that its only robux paid things you can gift, but ig I can understand why they didn’t make you able to gift your own ichor considering how much of it some people have, it would make the grind nonexistant for some people

for those who don’t know, Scraps recieved another small buff this update, her ability cooldown has been reduced to 25 seconds. but it really doesn’t make her much better, sure her ability isn’t as useless as it used to be before it could grapple to machines, but just having an ability that gives her better mobility will not fix her and it never will

Scraps’ stats are designed in such a way that she cannot excel at anything, bad skillcheck makes her a below average extractor and bad speed means she is a bad distractor and her survivability isn’t that great, nothing will make her good until those stats are reworked, I don’t understand why they are so reluctant to fix her stats, its such a simple fix too, just make her stats the opposite of Goob, that being 3 skillcheck, 2 movement speed, 2 stamina, 4 stealth, and 4 extraction speed. and boom, you get a stealthy extractor with an ability that directly compliments her bad mobility by giving her an easier way to get around. why won’t they do this? its genuinely so easy, why are the devs so scared of changing stats? we are not missing out on anything if they change Scraps stats, and if they can’t do that can they at least buff the stamina stat so its not basically just a waste? Scraps right now offers nothing to a team, and nothing for solo. she is outclassed by every other toon in the game, even Shrimpo is better than her at being bad

they also technically buffed Vee btw. well not really, they just made so you can see progression on the machines scanned or something idk

my friend absolutely loves Pressure but doesn’t have the money or good parents to buy any of the plushies, esp now with the whole situation, their favourite is Sebastian but I’m don’t quite have the time/resources/skill for a design as complicated as him, so I’m making Painter :)

I do not know who the artist of the picture on the wall is, I had it printed out nearly a year ago, I tried reverse image search and I think its Dorumon4x

where I live its extremely hard to get pokemon merch of the ones that aren’t easily marketable, so it was extremely difficult to find and buy all these guys, the rockruff plushie was ordered online and took months to arrive, same with the midday lycanroc figurine. the angry little rockruff figurine I got in like 2019 I think? just got him in a store, the other rockruff figurine and dusk lycanroc were also found years apart in a store (it takes forever for them to stock different figurines but they do it faster than plushies) and the midday lycanroc plush I found at a con recently. the last rockruff who is excluded is a very disturbing looking bootleg eraser I found in a cheap knockoff store
