บริบท: Kenning คือลักษณะอย่างหนึ่งของกลอนภาษานอร์สโบราณ มันคือเวลาที่กลอนมันสั้นเกินไปหรือหาคำมาคล้องจองไม่ได้ เขาก็จะหาคำใหม่โดยการคิดวลีอุปมาอุปไมยมาแทนคำนาม อย่างเช่นถ้าเขาอยากจะบอกว่า "นักรบ" แต่มันไม่มีอะไรคล้องจองกับคำว่านักรบ แถมกลอนยังมีที่เหลืออีกเยอะ เขาก็จะใช้คำว่า "คนที่ทำให้หมาป่าร่าเริง" แทน (เพราะนักรบฆ่าคนตายบนสนามรบ หลังรบจบหมาป่าก็จะมากินซาก) หรือใช้คำว่า "ถนนวาฬ" แทน "ทะเล" (เพราะปลาวาฬใช้ทะเลเป็นที่สัญจร) หรือ "ม้าทะเล" แทน "เรือ" (เพราะม้าใช้เดินทางบนบกยังไง เรือก็ใช้เดินทางในน้ำแบบนั้น)

แล้วผมเนี่ยโคดจะมี autism obsession กับ kenning

ทีนี้ พวกพี่ที่ทำงานผมเขาเรียก "ปลาเซลมอน" ว่า "ปลาทูคนรวย - Rich man's mackerel" และผมก็สังเกตุว่านั่นมันก็คือ Kenning ในภาษาไทย (คนรวยกินปลาเซลมอนเหมือนคนจนกินปลาทู) แล้ววันนี้ผมก็เพิ่งอ่านข่าวที่เขาเรียกรถไฟฟ้าคันเล็กๆ ว่า รถไฟฟ้ารุ่น "เร่งมรดก - Quickener of inheritance's arrival" (เพราะมันฆ่าคนแก่ไปเยอะมากในอุบัติเหตุ ซึ่งทำให้ลูกหลานได้มรดกเร็วขึ้น) และพบว่ามันเป็น kenning ที่ครีเอทีฟมากๆ อีกอันที่ผมเคยได้ยินมาคือตอนไปเที่ยว ตจว. แล้วเพื่อนห้ามไม่ให้ผิวปากตอนกลางคืน เพราะ "เดี๋ยว.... มันมา... ไอ้นั่นน่ะ... ไอ้พวกที่กินอาหารผ่านสายธูป (Ones who devour through incense's smoke) น่ะ..." แล้วนั่นก็เป็น kenning เหมือนกัน! นอกจากนั้นผมยังพบว่าการเซ้นเซอร์คำต่างๆ ของอัลกอรึทึ่มบนเอป Tiktok (ซึ่งผมไม่ได้ใช้ ผมเลยเพิ่งรู้เรื่องนี้เนี่ย) ทำให้คนสร้าง Kenning ขึ้นมาเพื่อเรียกเอปอื่นๆ เพื่อเลี่ยงการโดนปิดการมองเห็น เช่น "บ้านทุ่งหญ้า" แทน "ไลน์"

อยากลองมาถามดูว่า มันมีคำนามเชิงอุปมาอุปไมยอะไรแบบนี้ในภาษาไทยอีกมั่งไหมครับเนี่ย

Sorry. It is another “please review my itinerary post” which I'm sure you've seen many before. but I’d be really grateful for any advices, I’ll humbly accept every comment and thank you so much in advance. English isn’t my first language but I hope you understand!
I’ll plan this for spring of 2027. My previous trip to Greece was in spring 2024, where I do most of Athens except Sounio!

Day 1 
arrival in Athens, try to find a flight that arrive early before 13:00, book the Sounio cape sunset watch tour

Day 2
flight to Santorini. Check-in to hotel in Kondochori, drop the travel backpack there, and walk to Fira bus station to get the bus to Akrotiri (20 minutes) and see the site. The bus back to Fira will depend on the bus schedule for next year, check carefully. The closing time on mon/thur is 15:30, on other it’s 20:00, so there should be time to see it.

Day 3 
day tour around the island

Day 4
check-out with backpack. visit museum. go to Athinios port, to get ferry to Naxos (1-1:30 hour). Check-in to hotel, and go see the Portara at sunset! (walk along the beach to the east, should be a better sunset spot than on the portara, so I can see the sunset with the door as silhouette)

Day 5 
day tour in Naxos

Day 6
day tour to Mykonos and Delos. (Delos have to shades, bring hat)

Day 7 
ferry to Sifnos (3-4 hours) Ferry connection between Naxos and Sifnos can be less frequent than other routes! Depending on whether have time or not, take bus or walk the trail to Apollonia for lodging. Bring cash to Sifnos!

Day 8 
hike pilgrimage route to agios symeon. it’s steep and have little shade.

Day 9
ferry back to Athens from Sifnos (3 hours). Depending on the time, I’ll see if I can get a morning ferry and a late evening or night flight out of Athens. If not, another night in Athens is not bad!

It's in an early stage of planning as it's for 2027. By winter I should get a more detailed itinerary!

I know the schedule seems packed. But I only have 10 days of vacation leave per year, the flight is 17 hours, and already plan to pretend to be sick to get one more day, and possibly another sick leave if I have to spend another night in Athens at the end. plus I make barely $600 a month as I’m from a poorer country! :’)
