A manager helped us with Millenium seatbelts
Hi! We drove from Denver to CP and spent all day yesterday in the park. My husband was extremely worried about not fitting in the Millenium seatbelts. We took this trip in memory of his dad, who passed away a few years ago. Millennium was his dad's favorite ride, so we wanted to ride in his honor.
My husband is 5 ft 10, 280 lbs. He carries most of his weight in his lower tummy and back. We did the test seat, and he fit. It was a tight squeeze but doable, so we we went through the fast pass lane. When it was our turn, the attendant had to put his whole body weight into the buckle, but they got it without embarrassing him, and we successfully rode!
Later that day, we came back for a second ride, but this time, the seatbelt wouldn’t fit. We were seated near the middle of a yellow train. We explained to the manager (a very nice young man named Alejandro) that we had ridden earlier that day without any issues. Surprisingly, he listened to us and let us exit the ride and directed us to the line for the very back row instead. He said we needed to wait for the blue train specifically. He personally walked over with us and politely explained to the guests in line that we weren't line jumping. Once the blue car pulled up, Alejandro let us on, and sure enough, my husband was able to fit just like he had earlier.
Alejandro said some of the belts have been updated, and the back row of the blue car is one of them.
All of this to say, if you are nervous about fitting, ride the very last row of the blue train. Stay off the yellow train. And shout out to Alejandro for being a fantastic manager and making sure we were able to ride!!
