Hey everyone! I (22yo F) have a new cat (4yo, black, male neutered), I adopted him about a month ago. I have to make a trip home for a graduation and have decided for various reasons to leave him here for about three full days (two half days as well). He has an auto litter box and I have someone stopping by every day for about two hours to top off dry food, change water, clean his normal litter box, and feed him his dinner (wet food). She is also going to play with him for about 15-30 minutes if he’s receptive.

They met each other this weekend and it went great. They really bonded and played. I had her give him dinner so he knew she could.

I am super anxious about this despite how well it went and trusting her entirely to do everything I asked. I just need reassurance I’m making the right choice? I don’t want disrupt his new home for basically no reason, not to mention my family has dogs. He also has ringworm(already with a vet) that is being treated. My friend is going to do this for me as well.

Hey everyone! I (22F) just adopted a new cat (4 YO, male, neutered, 9lbs). He is my second cat but this is the first time I’m feeding wet food (my previous cat had digestive issues and could not be moved from the food she was on). He is eating but is only eating about half of what I give him (6 oz of fancy feast twice a day). How long should I leave the food out for? I am upgrading him to a new brand soon. I am planning on using weruva and one single 10 oz can per day.

Am I giving him too much? I am following the feed directions on the box.
