Brand new player here. I haven't played the first game, though I quickly got the hang of the basics. I would appreciate it if you guys shared some tips with me, which would help me in early game. No spoilers please.
I feel like it is taking way too long for preppers/cities/distribution centers to post new orders after I have connected them to the chiral network. In the first game I was able to easily max out stars with each prepper before continuing the main story - now I feel like I have to continue the main story for the newly connected people to post any orders.
That is part of the reason why I have given up on getting 5 stars with each "knot". It just takes too long without new orders, especially since in the mid-late(?) game, almost every "knot" requires ~ 10 000 likes - I am not about to waste hours riding around in the pickup off-roader, collecting lost cargo for a patch and a hologram, it gets tedious quickly.
What is your opinion?
New player here, I am attempting to complete the researcher's quest. While I have no problem with genetic variety, i can't keep the horse population stable - even when I bred a lot of horses myself before releasing them into the wilderness, they all managed to die. The biggest population drop I have seen was from 374 to 315 - why does that keep happening?
Also, interestingly the deer/moose population to the north of horsey island died out, as well as the red cat predators. Would it be possible for me to restore them and how to keep them from going extinct in the future?
