Engine heat, normal behaviour?

Engine heat, normal behaviour?

I drive for about 15 minutes, and during that time the temperature gauge stays just above the halfway mark. Then I park, leave the engine idling for about 3 minutes, and the gauge climbs quite a bit. Is that normal? I mean, I expect it to go up a little since there's no airflow anymore, but that much?

Whats that noise and issue of not starting?

Hi, had a 30min drive, everything looked good. But after arriving I heard that sound under the hood. I turned it off and tried to start, but does not start. Any ideas?

Just sharing

It loses fuel while driving at the connection between the metal line and the rubber hose above the engine block. Therefore, to be safe, it should not be driven to the mechanic on its own four wheels. The clamp comes loose.

Trying to find the preowner in US

Dear community, bought my truck last summer in Austria. I would love to know more about its history and life before he was imported. The title says it is from Kansas. Wrote a letter to the adress on the title but there was no response. Right: mayne the preowner is not interested in any contact. But maybe the letter did never reach him. So I try it that way.

Exhaust: stock or not?

Dear community! I own a F150 1978 and I would like to improve its sound, especially inside the cabine. It sounds great at the end of the exaust, but not inside the cabine. At the moment is has manifolds and a single pipe as shown on the pictures. Are they stock or factory? I am dreaming of 2 H pipe to get a good but not too loud V8 sound inside the cabine. What is your experience?
