First Frontier Flight
I recently flew on Frontier for the first time in my middle aged life. I am married to a (retired) airplane mechanic. He insists that I sit in the back of all airplanes. The flight to get to my destination is a non-stop and very short. On the way, the flight attendant asked me, "Where is your seat?" when I went to my seat and took my backpack off. I told her, "Right here." She asked me my name and looked on a sheet of paper and said, "Your seat changed. It's now XX." She was very nice and smiled the whole time.
On my return flight, I go to my seat and there is some equipment on the row taking up two of the seats. I look up and see that the overhead bins are closed. The flight attendant looked as though I was lost and said, "Where is your seat?" I replied, "Right here." She never smiled. She looked as though I was bothering her. "Well, you can't put your carry-on up here. These bins are for our equipment. You will have to go back and put your suitcase up where they are opened." She spoke to me like I was dumb for thinking I could put my carry-on above my seat. I did what she said and when I returned she said, "You can sit in XX." I didn't feel like arguing with her about anything. When the time came to take the drink cart out, she rolled it right by me, looked me in my face, and stared at me. I guess she was asking me if I wanted a drink. I shook my head no since evidently we read minds. She never smiled. THe other two attendants spoke nicely and always smiled. I don't know if this woman was having a bad day but I don't think it's too ridiculous of me to think that I can go to my chosen seat and sit in it. Not on either of the flights did I get to do that but at least the first lady was nice about it and we laughed. The lady on the return flight might need a vacation or she needs a refresher course on how to work with the public. Hey lady.....if you don't like your job, go find another one!!!
