Life feels like flowers and sunshine

Here's a positive story!

26F here and have been on zoloft for 6 months now. I was on 25mg for 1 month, started feeling better and sleeping better initially, then sleep anxiety started creeping in so I was upped to 50mg. Since then I feel like I am finally experiencing life as it should be. Don't get me wrong, I still get stressed and anxious, but it feels proportional to what's going on.

I initially started because I used to have crippling sleep anxiety. Since then I have yet to have a night that I wasn't able to sleep at least 5 hours, the norm now is 8-9 though. Amazing for me when I used to go days without being able to sleep. Also, I didnt think I had social anxiety before, but now its like a curtain has lifted. I actually LIKE talking to strangers now , I freely joke with people, my confidence is way higher. Like damn, I am THAT bitch and its a privledge to be me. Oh yeah, driving ain't no thing now. I used to get super embarrassed driving for some reason, now I ENJOY driving. ME. HA

My relationship with my spouse was good before, but its GREAT now. Like, I am overall less stressed and tense all of the time, a lot more relaxed and I love the feeling.

Only two side effects for me, but I dont mind them. I sweat like a pig and lost some sensitivity in my genitals, but neither of us mind using the clit master blaster 3000 because my mental is 100x better.

For those of you just starting, it does take time. Took me 3-4weeks to feel anything, and about 2ish months to really tell a difference. Believe in yourselves, and not everyone's path is the same! I was on another medication before zoloft that didnt work for me, so never give up hope yall!
