Postcard ready to go almost

Finished one with my new Ohuhu acrylic markers. I had run out of the precut watercolor blank postcards, so used regular w/c paper, will need to cut out.

Question about brands

How does ShinHan Professional Gouache compare to Holbein? I like that these are 15 ml tubes not 5 ml.

Updated last handmade card

I didn’t think I would be able to reproduce image on such a small stamp. I surprised myself, not perfect but will do.

Today’s handmade card

Didn’t quite turn out looking enough like stained glass, so just zentangled on it.

Future outgoing.

Ok, finished another pretend maxi. Might tweak a bit more. Now to pick out the perfect recipient. Image I saw on Pinterest , no artist name given.

Handmade pretend Maxi

What do you think? Would people like a handmade version of a maxi. It wouldn’t be a real maxi, just playing off idea of adding a matching”stamp”. These little stamp cut outs come in the watercolor postcards kit. I wasn’t sure what people did with them. Of course it would have to go in an envelope.

One Birthday, two Get Wells, and one Encouragement. I love picking out which cards to send.

Haul from recent trip

I keep my son’s dog when he goes on a trip and he brings me back postcards. This time it was Washington, DC. The cards even got a stamp from where he bought them, and a page of stickers.

Question about late arrivals.

I got notice today that a postcard I sent to Finland arrived on day 364. Since it expired long ago, how does it count? It doesn’t matter, just wondering, really glad it made it.

Poly Poli

Teacher showed us Poly Poli tangle today.
The bottom 2 our how we were shown in class. I decided to use it like a mosaic, colorful pieces with tangles all different inside. Slays amazes me how you can start with a tangle and expand its uses.

Tangled with markers.

Worked on a Kindness card this morning. Using markers is definitely different than using pens.

Art Club

Today’s pieces. Someone’s 8 yo niece joined us today. I had her pick out a kitty from my samples of clip art. She chose the kitty with the bow and I let hr take it with her.

Acrylic markers

I don’t think people understand that my arthritic fingers aren’t just sore joints, but frozen now for last 10 years. I love Diana Krall keeping me company. Using acrylic markers again and will tangle patterns also.

Meet Yp

My PC penpal was so sweet to send me a card from her recent Meet Up. How long do Meet Ups usually last?

Played some more with acrylic makers

This was a bigger project, 8x10” and I switched to hot press. I wanted to see if markers worked better on smoother paper. The jury still out. It’s definitely harder to get color in larger areas to go down evenly. I will keep playing. I want new markers. If anyone can recommend a good brand.
