Layla.

"Hello؟؟؟"

Layla.

I turned a clinic WhatsApp number into an Agentic Worker. Now I’m trying to find businesses chill enough to try it

so I have been building this thing called Layla

The original idea was pretty simple:

even dry cleaning/cafeteria businesses in BH operate on WhatsApp

And then someone on the payroll sits there all day wasting his own time on:

“Price?”

“Are you open?”

“Do you have this?”

“Can I book tomorrow?”

“Do you accept insurance?”

“Send location”

“Hello???”

Then the lead get lost because nobody replied in that 2 min usual bracket

So I thought:

let me try to build this basic chatbot .... 6 months later

Layla.

Its NOT one of those ""hello 👋 I am🤖 your 🤖 AI 🤖 assistant 🤖"" bots the kind that gives you a cookie recipe when you ask if they're open after Friday prayer

i know you think it is but genuinely Layla can actually hold a conversation, understand what the person wants and his intentions from the chat pattern, pull information from the business knowledge base, handle voice notes, collect customer details, send short/long term reminders, follow up with people who ghosted or stopped replying and flag hot leads for the owner so he can contact them later by phone or give them a nudge to take action and it also quietly ranks who's worth calling back so he is not just spamming calls or guessing

NOTE: (BTW IT WORKS IN 5 LANGUAGES AS WELL, Arabic, English, Russian, Hindi, Urdu)

I originally built it for a dental clinic my friend knew a dude who worked there, where it can handle stuff like treatment questions, prices, insurance, appointment requests, reminders, and lead recovery

But I Knew the same concept works for basically any business that makes its money on WhatsApp

Clinics, salons, real estate(i have HOT systems for this if anyone is interested), car dealerships, gyms, agencies, home services, whatever

The idea is basically:

A WhatsApp stops being an inbox and starts being a 24/7 5-lingual employee

And YES, I am currently in the slightly unhinged phase where I am trying to get actual businesses to let me try around with this in production without them paying for the service anything during the 1st week

So I am posting this here instead of doing the usual LinkedIn corporate NPC BS

If you run a business where WhatsApp is a major part of sales/customer service, I’m genuinely interested in seeing whether Layla can handle your use case

Worst case: it breaks and I fix it instantly with nothing for you to lose

Best case: we accidentally replace half your front desk repetitive work and capture/score any lead in matter of seconds

thanks for reading and i am looking out for your thoughts here, anything can help 🙏

22M, raised in UAE, looking for an AI Automation / Operations opportunity (or someone willing to give me a chance)

Hey everyone,

I don't usually make posts on Reddit, but honestly, I'm at a point where I don't really know what else to do.

I'm 22, Arab, raised in the UAE, and I've been looking for work for the past few months. I've applied to more jobs than I can count. Most of them never reply, and the few interviews I got either went nowhere or turned out to be scams.

I dropped out of Computer Engineering a couple of years ago. After that, I decided to focus on teaching myself AI and workflow automation because I genuinely enjoy building things and solving problems.

Over the last year, I've spent most of my time learning how businesses work and how AI can actually help them save time and improve their operations.

The easiest way to explain what I do:

I help businesses automate repetitive work.

If a company has employees spending hours every day answering the same customer questions, following up with leads, booking appointments, moving information between different systems, creating reports, or doing repetitive admin work, I build systems that handle those tasks automatically.

For example:

  • An AI assistant that can reply to customers 24/7, answer questions using the company's own information, qualify leads, and book appointments.
  • Automated workflows that connect different apps together so employees don't have to manually copy and paste information.
  • Reporting systems that collect business data and send useful summaries to managers automatically.

One of the projects I'm most proud of was building an AI receptionist for dental clinics. It could answer patient questions, book and reschedule appointments, search the clinic's knowledge base, send reminders, organize conversations, and generate daily reports for the clinic owner.

I built the whole system myself, from the workflow design to the AI logic and integrations.

The main tools I've worked with are n8n, AI agents, RAG systems, APIs, WhatsApp automation, Google Workspace, and vector databases.

I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert or that I know everything. I still have a lot to learn. But whenever I don't know something, I spend the time figuring it out. That's how I've learned everything so far.

The hardest part right now is that every job wants experience, but it's difficult to get experience when nobody gives you the first opportunity.

I'm not looking for a senior position or a crazy salary. I'm looking for somewhere I can contribute, learn, and prove myself.

I'm interested in opportunities related to:

  • AI Automation
  • AI Implementation
  • Workflow Automation
  • Operations
  • Internal Tools
  • Process Improvement
  • Junior Solutions / Technical roles

If you work at a startup, own a business, or know someone who could use these skills, I would genuinely appreciate any advice, referral, or introduction.

Even if you don't have an opportunity, any advice on where I should be looking would mean a lot.

I'm happy to share my CV, portfolio, or show the projects I've built.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I really appreciate it.

(And if you think someone might benefit from seeing this post, even an upvote would help it reach the right person.)
