I'm planning on transferring the spring semester and I'm just wondering if it's good enough

When I'm in the menu or controller settings the game detects it, but when I'm actually in game the game doesn't detect my controller and I get move or anything. Ds4 windows doesn't work, updating my controller driver doesn't work, going into the og game instead of content manager and setting controls to default doesn't work, reinstalling doesn't work, and having the game launch through steam and enabling steam inputs doesn't work. I've tried everything and nothing. I don't know what else to do and I'm very sad because I really liked playing this game
