As in, just being polite but the work is actually garbage? My self esteem is such that I don’t even trust positive feedback: either this person is just really nice or they’re consistently happy with my work.
Does anyone else re-read “nice job” emails to feel less like an idiot during the day?

But the classic European Louvre-church-French royalty aesthetic really does it for me, especially after moving away from Diptyque after the latest price rise and brand refresh (i.e. reformulation) nonsense. Trudon boutiques are also beautiful and quiet in person, and I'm sensitive to that sort of thing since the markup for all of these candles for me is justified by the buying experience. Bought the fancy gold candle stands and everything.
