What Are The Chances Of My Medical Waiver Getting Approved For A Mis Diagnosis Of Autism?

Alright I'll just get straight to the point and will be the only time I will say this but what are my chances In getting my medical waiver approved for a mis diagnosis of autism? As I have full documentation and written reports by my doctor stating I did not meet the criteria for autism. And It was a mis diagnosis. As Im joining the Marine Corps and would like to know If I still have a chance. As I know If it's diagnosed it's impossible.

Can I Join The Marine Corps If I Had An IEP For Autism That Was Proven To Be A Mis Diagnosis

Alright, I'm not sure on how to start off this subreddit but I Plan on joining the United States Marine Corps. And I have a medical issue that may disqualify me from it. So when I was In high school I was issued an IEP for autism as ADHD couldn't qualify for the IEP. I did end up getting a re evaluation for autism and for any mental health problems I had as I knew I would likely not get a waiver approved. But It was said and determined that I do not have autism or any mental health conditions and was a mis diagnosis from the school. As even thought It wasn't on my medical record I knew a waiver like that would likely not get approved. But with theses facts in place do I still have a chance In joining the Marine Corps? As I do not want to waste my recruiters time In this process.

(Also apologies for reposting the same question twice as I forgot that you can edit you're original post and don't have to delete it forgive me.)

Can I Join The Military With An IEP That Was For Autism But Was Proven To Be A Mis Diagnosis?

Hello, so I'm currently In the process In Joining the United States Marine Corps and I have a medical issue that I think may disqualify me from joining if I go to meps so when I was In high school I had an IEP that was for autism as my ADHD didn't qualify for the IEP and I was told alright and knew that I needed to get a re evaluation for autism and mental health and last month I got done with the re evaluation and my psychologist or psychiatrist can't remember on which one but It was determined that I do not have autism or any mental health problems as it was proven to be a mis diagnosis by the school. But also my IEP like 2 weeks before I graduated was dropped and I ended up graduating with a regular diploma not sure If I still may need a waiver with theses fact In place since It was proven to be a mis diagnosis from the school and was dropped. If anyone can answer my questions who's a recruiter or a medical professional thank you.

Can I Join The Military With An IEP That Was For Autism But Was Later Proven To Be A Mis Diagnosis?

Not sure on how to start this off but I'm currently In the process In Joining the United States Marine Corps and there's a medical issue I have that may be a disqualifying that was In my IEP so when I was In high school I had an IEP that was for autism because ADHD wouldn't qualify for it so I know that autism is a disqualifying but I was told if I get a mis diagnosis I could maybe join. So I went and did a mental and autism evaluation and did determined I do not have autism and it was a mis diagnosis. My question is am I still able to join with an IEP that was for autism but went and did an evaluation and said I do not have autism? As the IEP was for autism just not sure if I can join or not with the IEP since it was for autism even thought it was proven to be a mis diagnosis or if I could possibly get a waiver for that in my case.

But my question was what is the process in applying to become an Officer in the US Marine Corps? As i originally went to enlist after high school but I wanted a real challenge so I decided to do Officer in the future. Any advice on this? Also my score on the ACT is a 32. Is a 32 good?

Can I Join The Military In General With An IEP That Was Initially Autism?

Hello, I'm considering joining the airforce in the future. Since I do know that autism can be a disqualifying condition, I have a question. I was originally placed on an IEP for autism, but I later underwent a reevaluation and was determined not to have autism. Autism was not listed on my medical record, either but also the IEP was dropped before graduating. Would I still have a chance of joining the military?
