A $7,999 home robot joins the race to automate household chores

The clankers are coming for our SAHD jobs! It’s us vs them fellas.

Actually, it’d be nice to have someone(thing) do the chores while the kids and I are at the park or watching the World Cup.

Happy Sunday my dudes.

Shuddering while driving (2023 LT 2.7L)

So I drove to my in laws on Thursday morning and during the 250 mile trek I noticed my truck would shudder every once in a while. Kinda felt like small rumble strips.

No engine lights came on and no performance issues. I drove a little during the time there and it happened every time I drove it. It doesn’t happen while idling or while my foot is off the gas. I told a friend about it and he said it could be a transmission issue and said to try it in tow mode.

I just drove back home today and noticed it was shuddering more when I drove uphill. I remembered what my buddy said so I tried it in tow mode and the shuddering went away. Drove for about 50 miles and didn’t feel it at all.

I switched back over to normal and it was there again.

Any ideas?

Anyone get motion sickness when they started this medication?

I play first person games like Skyrim and Fallout a lot and I have been playing Fallout 4 since January almost daily. Today marks one week of starting my medication and I haven’t played since the night before I began my medication.

I fired it up today and damn I immediately felt dizzy and started getting an upset stomach as soon as I started moving. Felt like everything was zoomed in.

I moved the look speed down like 3-4 clicks and it was much better. Anyone experience anything like this?

Hey y’all. I’ve struggled all my life (40yo) with learning and “being lazy” but now it’s nice to know what’s actually going on! I was officially diagnosed after some testing and was prescribed Vyvanse (20mg). I take it every morning at about 6:30am on an empty stomach. Sometimes I eat within 30 minutes, sometimes I don’t eat until like 11am or noon. I have had a couple days where I feel a crash at like 2-230 (feeling lazy and sleepy) but it hits again after a little while.

I’ve only been on it for 6 days and I get so thirsty, but also I’m having some crazy ass dreams! Anyone else have that issue? I didn’t see it as an official side effect anywhere but I have had a weird dream every night since I started taking it. First night I jerked awake because an ivy plant attacked me in my dream lol.

It has me noticeably friendlier towards everyone/everything and I’m a lot more patient with my crazy kids. Definitely enjoying it so far.
