Tesla Destination Charger Compatibility

I recently traded in my Tesla for a Lucid Gravity and I'm slowly starting to discover the struggles of charging a non-Tesla EV, from insanely high DC charging rates, non-Tesla drivers charging to 100% causing congestion, now I'm finding out that non-Teslas don't natively support Tesla Destination chargers.

Has anyone been able to get these to play nicely? Is this due to a specific configuration set by the owner, banning non-Teslas? I've seen EVs from BMW, Rivian, and Fiat charging here over the past few years. Do I need a NACS to J1772 to NACS adapters to get this to work?

Where is my TM-B?

Like many others, I ordered my TM-B Launch Edition October of 2025...there has been very little order-specific communication since I forked over that $5,000. These are supposed to ship Spring 2026, there's less than 2 weeks until that deadline is missed. I was told to expect an update email within a week after test riding the TM-B last weekend, but that week has come and gone. I've been patiently waiting for the past 8 months, but my patience is running thin...I hope someone from ALSO is reading this reddit and feels compelled to update their customers.

Alcantara Steering Wheel cover

This should be a stock option. The Alcantara cover improves grip while protecting the pleather underneath. I cringe every time I see an Tesla steering wheel with a shiny finish from layers and layers of hand oils.

It was about $140 for the precut material and thread and another $150 for the install. Well worth the money IMO. I highly recommend it.
