Someone hit my car and ran. I provided security cam footage of the guy hitting my vehicle as well as a crystal clear picture of the guy himself (absolute full face shot and body shot in great lighting) from that camera but it was too dark to read the license plate number. The officer who took the report just called me and said that they tracked his vehicle with the flock cameras but it was also too dark outside for even the flock cameras to read his plate.

The guy who hit me was in a brand new jeep gladiator, light grey, rubicon. A fairly common vehicle but not as common compared to a grey honda civic. Are the police able to search dmv records for “jeep, gladiator, rubicon, grey” and see a list of registered owners in the area?

After a recent convo on this sub, I’ve really started to wonder how similar the personality is of the BPD partner when they’re “good”/not splitting?

A lot of these posts read as if we have all been dating the same exact person, we all know how similar their traits are when they’re splitting, hoovering, ruining us. How similar are their personalities when they’re happy? I personally do not believe their “good” side is authentic seeing as the opposite side of them is completely removed from reality. I believe that for there to be this insanely cruel and evil bad side, their must be this equal and opposite good side. Both of them equally inauthentic.

This then led me to think about due to the similarities of their dissociations and splitting, there may be shockingly similar attributes of their good side personality.

I’m a straight male so my only experience is with a female BPD person. Id say these were her great mood personality traits.

- extremely bubbly in an almost childlike manner

- huge jokester/ extremely sassy and playful/ constant banter/ silly sayings

- very cute and “innocent” like mannerisms, facial expressions, persona (physically jumping for joy/dancing when happy/ face acts out every emotion) almost in an anime way?!

- extremely carefree

- extremely sexual with little to no reservations/ into more extreme kinks

- intense love bombing/idolization (tells you exactly what you’d want to hear with how much they love and worship you)

- can’t stay focused/ mind running too fast for her mouth (would start saying something and get side tracked/ distracted)

- impulsive

- very clingy (would often proclaim how bad she “desired to cling” to me or “I need to be inside of your skin”)

- self proclaimed obsession and loyalty to you (when she would split it’s a different story but when things are good, she acted like I was the only man on earth)

Now I’m adding this point because I feel it could be crucial. How many of your BPD exes/partners had a missing parent in their lives? My ex’s father died when she was extremely young and her mother died a few years ago. I am wondering if there’s a correlation between losing a parent early on in the developmental stage or if this is purely just something you’re born with.

Hey everyone, relatively new to mastercam. I’m using mastercam 2017. I make parts where a single groove radius is the only thing that changes between parts. Recently got an order for a bunch of them but all with different groove sizes… is there a way for me to just edit the groove radius and regenerate or am I stuck making a wireframe/program for every single part? Hello everyone. I guess I’m just writing in hopes for Catholic advice and information on how to handle and view the struggles in my life.

To start this off I’d say I’ve always been an anxious and depressed person since I was a young child. Didn’t have the worst family life but there was definitely some trauma.

The past 7 or 8 years have been especially hard. I’ve gone through some pretty depressing moments and am a fraction of my former self. Two years ago I developed panic disorder from what I believe to be just letting my anxiety and depression run unchecked for all those years. My brain feels like it’s addicted to torturing itself. I’ve done extensive therapy for it for 4 years but it was fleeting.

Two years ago I found Jesus Christ and shortly after had my prayers answered but only for it to fall out from under me in a truly brutal way. This has only brought me closer to Jesus and as a result I was confirmed into the Catholic Church during Easter. I go to mass every Sunday, pray daily, and truly do have unwavering love for Jesus Christ.

I don’t blame God for my struggles, I know they were not put upon me by him and that there’s lessons I should be learning through these struggles but it is starting to become truly overwhelming to the point where my daily life is starting to break. The book of Job speaks to me on a massive level. I can relate heavily to Job although I know I am not of his perfection and am not being subjected to trials by God.

I would love scripture to turn to or Catholic doctrine from people who have been in the Catholic faith for a lot longer than myself.

It truly blows my mind how common this is with them and how widely acknowledged it is by younger generations. Boomers will be blatantly wrong and when you point out how they’re wrong with logic, they retort to some form of dismissing you based on your age with a “listen youngin, just trust me bro I’m older.”

I see it on Reddit and Facebook constantly. I’m in groups for my various hobbies, I see a boomer say something blatantly wrong, I nicely correct them, I get a bunch of thumbs up reacts while they get a bunch of laughing reacts, multiple people chime in to tell the boomer they’re wrong as well, they still don’t get it and just resort to making such an illogical point and then call me “youngin”. It’s as if the ability to recognize they’re wrong and learn when corrected doesn’t exist in that generation. They just dismiss and resort to “age= unobjectionable knowledge.”

I’d love to hear theories on why this generation is so predisposed to this.

There’s two houses that do it, one is two houses over and the other one is more than two football fields away yet they both shake my house until 2am-3am with the most irritating mariachi band music. They’re literally broadcasting it as loud as possible and the cops sometimes shut it down and sometimes don’t. It blows my mind how they think this is an okay thing to subject the entire neighborhood to at 1am

Update, cops came around 1:20am, they turned it down and then turned it back up once the cops left. They have also started playing drums from what I can tell. It is 2:20am and I am now waiting for the cops to go there again

Update 2: cops finally came around 2:30am and shut it down. Before the cops shut it down, they were drumming along to the songs and even turning up the music super loud for 3 second bursts just to piss off whoever called (me)

I had to purchase a $5000 item for our business from another small business. I also purchased a $400 add on item. I received the $5000 item but didn’t receive the $400 item. I emailed the company and told them I didn’t receive the $400 item and they replied saying they would ship it out the next day. It has now been almost a month and I haven’t received it. I have sent multiple emails asking for an update and they will not respond.

I received a proper invoice with both items on it and paid via credit card. What are my next steps to escalate this?

My iPhone 13 is on its absolute last legs and struggles to do basically everything so I need a new phone. My service is comcast and on my works plan so I don’t have access to the comcast account without going through my companies office workers.

If I was to buy an iphone16 pro, would I be able to transfer my cell service to it myself or would I have to make it a whole ordeal with my company? My iPhone 13 has a physical sim and the 16 pro has an eSIM. I did some googling but saw conflicting info
