I'm looking for a certain type of film and I would be grateful for recommendations! It's difficult to articulate but I'll do my best.

What I'm looking for in a nutshell is films about music, featuring musical performances by the cast that are preferably folksy in style and diegetic. Some examples that I love are:

• The History of Sound
• Inside Llewyn Davis
• Sinners
• The Testament of Ann Lee

Not exactly folksy, but in the same vein are:

• Mother Mary
• Once

I'm not against outright musicals, in fact I love them and would definitely welcome recommendations. But the films I listed really spoke to me and I would be genuinely thrilled to discover others like them.
