So I recently this quick $40 commission for a friend and he didn’t care much about the background so I just threw a generic one behind the draw that “fit” the theme. That got me thinking, I seldom draw backgrounds in commissions and mostly do character art, are backgrounds something I should charge for separately or just do as a courtesy?
