XPS 13 for engineering??

Hello! I’m an incoming first year into a engineering degree (specific discipline not chosen until 2nd year), and I’m looking for a computer that looks nice and can handle my coursework.

The Dell XPS 13 has caught me because of its price, but also the quality of it’s RAM/Memory. Here are the specifications I’m looking at:

Processor
Intel Core Ultra 7 258V (Series 2)
8 cores
Up to 4.8 GHz boost

Memory
32GB LPDDR5X
8533 MT/s (very fast)
Soldered (not upgradeable)

Storage
1TB PCIe NVMe SSD

Graphics
Intel Arc integrated graphics

Display
13.4-inch
2K resolution
30–120Hz refresh rate
500 nits brightness
Non-touch

Is it worth it? Will it successfully keep up with my coursework?

Are Macro and Micro Economics (ECON 201/203) offered asynchronously during the spring/summer semesters?

Couldn’t find anything about this on the website or my schedule builder yet, so I am very curious! I’m trying to plan on completing courses during this time but won’t be in Calgary. Thanks!

Incoming Engineering + Business dual students? (UCalgary)

Ive been trying to find other students going into the same program but it seems impossible.

If you are going into the same program, DM me! I’d love to connect!
